Czech Transfer Service, s.r.o. is a company, based in Prague, Czech Republic, and specialized on private long-distance taxi services with an option to visit sights along the way. As well we provide multi-day trips accross European countries or daytrips from selected European cities.
All our drivers must submit his/her criminal and traffic record. We interview each driver. All cars must be less than ten years old, in excellent operating condition, and insured as required by local law. Drivers must provide us with the registration, insurance and technical inspection record of the car. And because our drivers are locals, they’re familiar with the rules and customs of the road. We believe this provides a safer, more relaxing experience for you.
According to the local law we have to keep your name, email and phone number in evidence for 5 years. However, your personal data are not shared with the third party and they are not used for newsletters or any marketing purposes.
All our drivers speak English.
No, we provide only private service, where the vehicle is booked for you and your party.
- Economy car – Skoda Octavia III, Volkswagen Golf Variant, Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus – can be replaced by a vehicle of any category.
- Standard car – Skoda Superb III, Volkswagen Passat B8 – can be replaced by MPV, Mercedes E-class / Vito Tourer / V-class
- Compact MPV – Volkswagen Sharan, Seat Alhambra, Ford S-MAX, Ford Galaxy – can be replaced by any van
- Economy van – Volkswagen Transporter / Caravelle, Renault Trafic, Ford Tourneo Custom – can be replaced by any higher category van
- Mercedes Vito Tourer – Mercedes Vito Tourer with reclining seats and tinted windows – can be replaced by Mercedes V-class
- Mercedes E-class – Mercedes E-class W213 or W214
- Mercedes V-class – Mercedes V-class model 2021 and younger
- Extra Large van – Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, Fiat Ducato
- Minibus – Mercedes Sprinter model 2021 and younger
- Premium car – Mercedes S-class model 2019 and younger
Our transportation is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, even during Christmas and Eastern. So you can book your car for any time you need. Our office hours are every day from 9 am to 9 pm (GMT+2). At this time we also answer all e-mails, quote the requests, etc.

Our prices are always quoted per vehicle.

All our transfers have fixed price quotes available in advance, which cover all taxes and fees.
We use dynamic pricing, we change prices on our website depending on the day of the week, departure time and number of days you book before the transfer.
Prices for adults and children are the same.
After you complete a booking, the price cannot change anymore, except you make some changes in the booking.

Special requests
Child seat is provided free of charge. A child seat must be selected in Extras after selecting the vehicle type.
Some of our cars are equipped with a fast WiFi connection. A mobile data signal (3G/LTE) is received by the onboard WiFi Router. If Wi-Fi is unavailable or you are unable to use the WiFi for any reason, you must be aware that there is no refund available. Free WiFi is offered as a complimentary benefit.
A wheelchair can be transported free of charge if notified to us in advance when making your reservation. Please, do not forget to select it in our booking form Extras > Bulky luggage after selecting the vehicle type.

Of course. You can select the Transfer Type “Return” for the return same day (there is necessary to fill the extra time – the number of hours you need the vehicle with the driver to wait in the destination) or the “Return (new ride) for the return transfer on different day or same day without waiting in the destination. If you are not sure, please feel free to email us with your request.
We strive to make your trip as comfortable as possible, and the air you breathe in the car is an important part of this. All drivers are required to keep their cars smoke-free, and generally as scent-neutral as possible. Which means no smoke, no dust, and no air fresheners.
Yes, we’re happy to accommodate your animal companion! Please let us know in advance if you will be traveling with pets, including service and emotional support animals, so we can ensure there will be enough space for you, your pet, and your luggage in the vehicle. If you don’t inform us in advance, we can’t guarantee that your driver will be able to accommodate you or offer any refund.

It is better to book the taxi as soon as possible. The prices may increase closer to the departure date.

All details requested on the booking form are very important for us to provide the most accurate price quotations and transportation services. However should you prefer booking by email or whatsapp, always prepare the following details:
- Pick up date
- Pick up time
- Name of the leading passenger
- Total number of adults and children (younger 12 years) and possible infant/baby/child seat request
- Contact number (WhatsApp preffered)
- Pick up point
- Drop off point
- Stops along the way and their duration (optional)
In case you are looking for arrival airport transfer or train station transfer, do not forget to include exact flight number or train number. Do not confuse the ticket number and the actual flight / train details.
Once making a booking, the system offers an online payment. We recommend to pre-pay in advance to 100% guarantee your booking. If you decide not to pay at the moment of making a reservation, we will send you an e-mail with the note about unsuccessful payment. Eventually, through this way, we can manage any other special requests or answer your questions.
Please note that the system sometimes takes even 10 minutes to pair the online payment with the booking. But it always sends a confirmation e-mail if the booking is instantly prepaid. If you do not find the confirmation e-mail in your mailbox, please check the spam folder first and if the confirmation is not found even there, then kindly email us. We check the status of booking in the system and send the manual confirmation.
You can modify your booking by email or texting (not calling) via whatsapp on +420 720 592 018. Your reservation number will be required for this process. An extra charge may occur for the modification.
Yes. You can cancel by sending an e-mail. The booking number will be required for this process.
There is a free cancellation policy if you cancel:
- at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time for intercity car/minivan transfers, airport transfers, hourly hires, daytrips, and city tours
- at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time for minibus/coach transfers and hourly hires within Prague, daytrips, and city tours
- at least 7 full days before the scheduled pick-up day for car/minivan multi-day hire taking up to 7 days, and minibus/coach intercity transfers
- at least 14 full days before the scheduled pick-up day for minibus/coach multi-day hire and car/minivan multi-day hire taking more than 7 days

Payment
Yes of course. Please fill the billing details when making a booking and the invoice will be sent to your e-mail after the end of the ride.
The payment is possible online when making a booking or later via sent payment link, eventually by invoice with a due date before the date of pick-up.
Yes. There is an option to pay the driver by cash or card (only in CZK by card). This option is valid only for transfers from Prague. This is the ocassional solution as the pre-payment is generally prioritized and prefered. Please note us about your wish to pay to driver as this option is not generally available in the booking form.
It is customary to give a tip if you feel the service has warranted this. However, this is entirely at your discretion.
If your payment did not go through, please try again with a different card (we accept Visa, Mastercard, and AmEx). If you are still having trouble, please email us.
Pick-up
Yes you can. In case the driver is not able to find you please call him directly or contact our office. You will receive the name and phone number of the driver usually one day before the transfer by email and text message.
Yes we can. The pick up time is only up to you. Please note, that the price for the transfer in the night hours can be a little higher due to less capacities. Please make sure that you put the correct time while making the reservation.
You should inform us as soon as possible by using the phone and that you have arrived at the airport. The driver will wait up to a maximum of 1 hour after the flight arrival time. If it is a Transfer from a railway station, the waiting time is 30 minutes after the arrival time of the train.
You must inform us of the next flight departure and its arrival time by the phone or email. If you fail to do so, it will be regarded as a NO-SHOW.
The driver monitors the flight and wait for you in the arrival hall holding a sign with your name. If your flight is delayed or land earlier there is no extra charge.
In this case please try to contact the driver on his mobile phone. You can also contact our office.
We can pick you up at any address, hotel or airport.
The solid details about meeting the driver at the airport or Railway Station are provided in your booking confirmation. In most cases, the driver will wait for you in the arrivals terminal. The driver will be holding a card with the name of the lead passenger which was provided during the booking process.
If you are going from a hotel, please wait at reception (lobby). If being collected from an apartment or your home, please wait outside by your main door. The driver will look for you there. In other cases, during the booking process, please provide us with the full address including precise details (plaza, street, postcode etc.) of where you want to be collected.
Transfer
Yes, it is possible. Short stops along the way (eg, restroom, drink, stretch a leg) that do not exceed 30 minutes are free of charge. If you would like to make any stops or visit any place on the way, we recommend setting up the route with the waypoints and extra time in the booking form when making the reservation. If you decided to stop for sightseeing along the way spontaneously during the transfer, the extra charges will be applied.
Each passenger has an allowance of 1 big suitcase. We do not charge extra luggage if notified to us in advance when making your reservation.
Each passenger is allowed one large bag (29″ x 21″ x 11″ / 74 x 53 x 28 cm) and one small bag (22″ x 14″ x 9″ / 56 x 36 x 23 cm) or. We always send the vehicle that is the best fit for you and your luggage, so make sure to select the actual amount of luggage and ski/snowboard bags you are traveling with during checkout. If you have oversized luggage, or are unsure if your luggage will fit, please, feel free to email us.
Yes, all our transfers are door-to-door.
Generally it is not a problem. You can make arrangments with your driver, but please, count that the extra waiting fee will be applied. Please note, that sometimes the driver´s schedule does not allow to let you stay longer.
Your vehicle is assigned based on the number of passengers and luggage selected during booking. Even if a van can seat 7, booking for 5 means the vehicle is planned for that number, and extra space is not guaranteed. Changes depend on availability—you’re welcome to ask, and we’ll check, but we can’t guarantee adjustments within 36 hours of your trip!
We can’t guarantee that every attraction will be open for every trip, especially during the off-season. We recommend checking the opening hours in advance.
Our drivers have the basic knowledge of the history, but they can not be compared with a professional licensed guide. They will gladly share with you the knowledge about the local lifestyle, culture, gastronomy, political situation, what to see around, but they may not know the dates, periods and some historical contexts.
Please note that our driver will wait a maximum of 15 minutes from pick-up time, otherwise customer will pay an additional fee, charged hourly.
Waiting fee:
- Economy car: 21 EUR per hour
- Standard car, MPV, Economy van: 25 EUR per hour
- Mercedes Vito Tourer, Mercedes E-class: 32 EUR per hour
- Mercedes V-class: 42 EUR per hour
- Mercedes Sprinter 19seater: 60 EUR per hour
The cleaning fee is 250 EUR
Cleaning is billed in the case of:
-Spilled liquids (excluding provided water)
-Bodily liquids and waste (urine, vomits, feces, etc,…)
-Animal furr/fuzz/hairs
Seatbelts in the car
Seatbelts are mandatory all around Europe, drivers and companies are not responsible for any injuries caused by not using them.
In case of police stop are also fully responsible for payment of ticket issued to them for not using seatbelts.
