Vaclav Havel International Airport Prague (PRG)
Vaclav Havel International Airport Prague (PRG) is the only international airport in the city serving commercial passenger flights. (Our system, based on Google Maps may offer Prague Airport Letnany as one of the choices – please do not get confused, it is only a sports airport – please do not fill it out if you travel by commercial flight).
Currently, there are two terminals in Vaclav Havel International Airport Prague. Terminal 1 serves all intercontinental flights and flights from/to the UK, Ireland, Croatia, Albania, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and Cyprus. Terminal 2 is for flights from/to all other European countries, that are the members of Schengen Area. There are no trams, trains or metro. The airport is reachable only by bus or taxi. That is why our Prague airport transfers are the reliable and convenient alternative transport.
Prague Airport Transfers with meet & greet service
When arriving in Prague by plane, you do not need to know exactly which terminal you land. Our experienced drivers are well-orientated in international flights, so they track the flight through the Prague Airport mobile app.
Meeting point in Terminal 1
As soon as you get your luggage go please to the ARRIVALS of TERMINAL 1 (follow the sign “EXIT” until you get to the last hall before you can get out of the airport building). You will see there some other drivers standing with clients’ name cards. Your driver will be standing near to well visible “MATTONI BAR” with a sign of your name. You will see the Mattoni bar on your left when you reach the arrival hall. Drivers usually appear at this place approximately 25 minutes after your current landing time (even in case your plane is delayed).
Meeting point in Terminal 2
As soon as you get your luggage go please to the ARRIVALS of TERMINAL 2 (follow the sign “EXIT” until you get to the last hall before you can get out of the airport building). You will see there some other drivers standing with clients’ name cards. Your driver will be standing near to well visible “VISITOR CENTRE” with a sign of your name. You will see the Visitor centre ahead of you, little on the left, when you reach the arrival hall. Drivers usually appear at this place approximately 15 minutes after your current landing time (even in case your plane is delayed).
On picking up from the airport your driver will meet you in the arrival hall, just in front of the exit from the luggage claim area. You will recognize your driver by a sign with your name. In the they of your arrival we will also let you know your driver’s name and mobile phone number just in case of any unforeseen circumstances like loss of luggage, etc. Anyway your driver will wait you one hour, since the arrival of your aircraft, without any surcharge if you linger for some reason. Please note, if longer waiting is necessary, the parking fees may be applied. Your driver will then carry any baggage you might have and escort you to your vehicle ready for your journey to Prague or another destination. The journey from Prague airport to the city centre can take from 20 minutes to 1 hours, to the outskirts from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic situation.
Stress-less taxi transfers from Prague city to Prague Airport
When leaving from Prague city to Prague airport, we highly recommend arranging the pick up time to be dropped off at least 2 hours before take off (if flying economy class out of Europe, we recommend 3 hours because passport and security checks). Our booking form can estimate the best pick up time when filling the drop-off time in the airport. Please note, that Czech Transfer Service is not responsible for missing the flight if this time reserve will not be kept. Departure transfers include only 15 minutes waiting at the pick-up location. Please note, that parking in Prague is highly complicated, so if driver shows up and then dissappear, it means he had to “drive around the block” or stay at the vehicle for the case of instant leaving. On dropping you off at the airport, your driver will make sure he gets you as close to the terminal entrance as possible and will unload all your luggage for you.
Arriving by train or bus?
We can also pick you up from Main Train Station (Hlavni nadrazi) or Bus Terminal Florenc. Please do not forget to fill the details about the bus or train you will arrive with. We can eventually pick you up from different train and bus terminals in Prague – then the driver expects you at the train/bus.
Meeting point in Main Train Station (Hlavni nadrazi)
As soon as you leave your train go to a main hall of the Main train station (the hall at the end of the middle corridor from the platform – there are three on every platform, so take the middle one), your driver will be standing near to well visible “BURGER KING” restaurant with a sign of your name. If arriving by FLIXBUS to Wilsonova Bus Station (located in front of the train station, please go inside the building, turn right, and take the escalators down. Your driver will be standing near to well visible “BURGER KING” restaurant with a sign of your name.
Meeting point in Bus Terminal Florenc
As soon as you leave your bus go to the main building of the ÚAN FLORENC bus station, your driver will be standing near to well visible “BURGER KING” restaurant with a sign of your name.
Please note, that there is no mobile app for tracking the buses and even the details on arrival board are not correct. The best solution is keeping your driver informed. Please do not panic if your driver is not in the spot. Buses arrive rarely in time. During the day delayed, in the night sooner.
